Welker was a good reviewer. He is most likely not a HOF.
Iirc, one all pro. That ain’t gonna do it.
If he is a HOF then Roddy White is one as well. And Brandon Marshall.
While he was in the league Andre Johnson was better, as was Fitz, as was Steve Smith.

You realize that Welker AVERAGED 9 receptions and 100 yards for every game started (with 4 different teams) in his career right?

The dude wasn’t just good. He was great and extremely underrated. Couple that with his SBs and he’s eventually getting in.

Nope. He ain’t a HOF. It ain’t the Hall of very good.
Super Bowls? He didn’t accrue any playoff stats in 2014. Or in 2015. Or in 13.

There’s one individual metric you probably don’t want to talk about. It’s what separates goat from the greats. I bet if you ask Brees who the goat is he would side with me.

Welker has more all-purpose yards than Terrell Owens AND Randy Moss throughout his career playing HALF the games.
He was also a phenomenal punt returner

Welker was 2x first team all pro and a 4x all pro (which doesn’t matter because I stated he was UNDERRATED which would obviously extend to sports writers as well so thanks for confirming my point).
But Welker also led ALL receivers in the NFL in receptions, top 3 in yards and had one of the highest catch rates from 2006-2013.
8 full seasons of being clearly one of the best in the NFL.
And you want to compare him to Hester?
I was just adding that Welker did all that as a receiver and was a great punt returner as well, I never said he was the GOAT returner.
But If you have to compare him to Moss and Owens and ALSO Hester (as a returner) to prove your point, you’ve really proven mine.
