Ring the bell, this race is done, it's over.

You can talk about the bigger basses all you want, but he would have had 40/40 in 2019 (last full healthy season) had he either A.) Not injured his hamstring the last week of the regular season and they rested him or B.) Had he actually tried to steal more before the All Star Break. He had 13 steals in 16 attempts before the ASB. He had 24 steals in 30 attempts after it.

Yea I don’t see how Acuna doesn’t win the MVP easily this season

It’s, all-around, one of the greatest seasons ever and I am not a braves fan boy at all.

30/60 for the first time ever. Wow.

Cool, lets see if they can make it out of the divisional round this year

Sick burn. Condolences on not winning a division in over a decade.

MVP voters will hang their hat on the 40/70 milestone but what really made Acuna the MVP in my mind was his consistency. He put up great numbers every single month while the rest of the Braves offense, while potent, went through hot and cold spells.

Acuna was the spark plug that made that engine run even when all of the cylinders weren't firing.

Betts had a great season but it was more hot/cold.

Imagine saying this about a team that won the World Series 2 years ago.

Steals are BS stats with the new rules.

I love this argument. If that's the case, then why isn't everyone stealing 70 bases?

Acuna would have been 40/40 without the new rules with the year he's had. Yes, the new rules helped him get to 70, but on an equal playing field with everyone else, he's far and away the best base stealer in MLB right now.

Here are the top 10 #'s wise in stolen bases this year. It drops off very quickly after Acuna.
