This is a good thing. It's harder to convince people there's a fight to be had when nobody is drawing battle lines. This is the enemies of truth drawing a line.
Now you get to pick. Do you care more about football or about the truth?

Are they moving it to South Carolina

What interesting times we live in. South Carolina is more tolerant than North Carolina.

Also hoping all of the people who have bought tickets (including myself) to the ACC Championship game

Don't they usually have to give those tickets away?

Since the ACC pulled the championship game out of North Carolina, i wonder if the NC legislature has any authority to pull UNC and Duke out of the ACC or is that strictly an academic descsion?

The legislature probably doesn't have too much control over a private institution......

yeah, wasn`t thinking about Duke being private, but could the legislature force UNC and State out of the ACC in retribution for this action, the SEC has supposedly coveted UNC since expansion started... not saying it`s even been thought of but the ultimate FU!

Usually, but last year tickets on Stubhub before kickoff were more than National Championship tickets.

This year they had ticket packages starting st $25 and I bet a lot of Clemson and UNC fans snapped them up. I know I did, and was planning on going even if the Heels weren't in the game.

I heard both administrations support the SJW idiocy.

HB2 doesn't apply to Duke at all and UNC/NC State may be able to argue that it doesn't apply to them either (just to K-12 school districts).

I'm sure they do, i was just wondering who really has the power to decide, the administration or the state government, it`s all hypothetical, but the only reason Bama and AU started playing again was the Alabama legislature said play or else..i know it`s far fetched but personally i could understand after being told you will play our way and like it, could`t blame them if they took the crown jewel of the ACC and said bye.

I just don't get their lack of objection. They are already on record opposing HB2, but their "allies" are knifing them in the back instead of supporting them.

It would be awesome if UNC and Duke jumped to the SEC or B1G.

Have they really said what the alternate sites were for the ACC Football Championship yet? I see Everbank Field and FedEx Field trying to go for it but I can also see Orlando and their renovated Citrus Bowl trying to jump all over this one, especially since they don't have an NFL tenant.

Orlando was the first city to throw in their hat.

Any word on potential sites to replace it? New Orleans would be cool, but the Pelicans have home games that conflict with the scheduled dates.

The city of Louisville with UofL as host is going to bid for the 2017 Men's Basketball, DIII Soccer, Volleyball, and I can't remember what else. They've hosted the NCAA Tournament a few times so they should be up there to get the bid IMO.

Stupid decisions by stupid people. I am glad though that maybe UNC and Duke will have to play games prior to the final four outside of the state of North Carolina. Only positive.

Seems like a good opportunity to invite UNC & Duke to the SEC.
