This.

Watched all the clips to see what the fuss was about and my take is that Jimmy Kimmel can't handle when he is on the other side of a joke.

On Mcaffee, Rodgers mentions alien news as being distraction to Epstein list.

Kimmel makes fun of Rodgers and calls him a slew of names on Kimmel show.

Rodgers jokes that maybe Kimmel doesn't want the list released for any number of reasons. He was not saying Kimmel was on the list.

Kimmel throws hissy fit.

Media runs with story backing Kimmel and saying Rodgers called Kimmel pedophile.

It's wild that no one in news media has any comprehension skills at all, anymore.

What do you expect him to do? He has a fricking 85M dollar contract with espn.

But sure pretend you’d have stood your ground

End of the day, I like Rodgers, but insinuating someone is a pedo is a wild thing to do. It’s really not a joking matter. Mcafee had no choice but to “kowtow”.

But it’s okay to call anyone who ever attended a junior college stupid?

Surely cas4t must be out there demanding the release of the Epstein Island visitors so that we can jail the offenders, correct? Or is it just wrong to make a joke about another person. We are cool with actual pedophiles.

then ABC, also owned by Disney like ESPN, should be firing Kimmel for actually saying far worse about Aaron Rodgers than just insinuations and for dressing in black face.

Care to guess why that won't be the case? you only get 1 guess.

So... he won't be on for 1 month.

He's made enough money to stand his ground, though. At this point, his actions will tell you where he stands.

He had a choice. If he got cancelled he'd be able to go independent very quickly, as he was before.

Yeah, that Kimmel/Rodgers feud has probably gotten a little too loud for Disney.

I'm sure this is 3 pages of political nonsense(that I'm happy to join in on lol), but it's only the most normal thing in the world for your network to not want someone on it who will call (or strongly insinuate to those who will unnecessarily try to pick it apart and say HE NEVER SAID THAT) another person a pedophile with zero evidence.

The fact that we can't all agree or at least understand that much shows how much politics have broken some people.

It's not been a secret who Aaron Rodgers is. McAfee knew it before he ever came on his show one time. I'd argue that is actually why he wanted him on. It's not like he's a dynamic personality. McAfee was feeling heat because of his own beef plus Disney pissed about the Kimmel thing, and Pat kowtowed. Disappointing but not surprising.

Yea, I highly doubt this is McAfee's decision. I'm sure he loved having Rodgers on given the publicity it was generating.

I can only imagine this is an ESPN decision, and given how much McAfee is being paid and ultimately does have a boss and doesn't have the final say, it's kind of silly to blame McAfee and insinuate he should quit and lose all these millions over this situation.

Translated to Aaron Rodgers called Jimmy Kimmel a pedophile but did so in such a way where he could deny he ever said that.

This is laughable. We all know what he meant. Aaron knew what he meant. It's cowardly for Aaron to not own it. if you say it, stand on it. He tried to backtrack from it, even though every one of us knew why he said that, to insinuate that Kimmel was a pedophile, which would get all kinds of people riled up because they certainly won't do any research so they'll assume it's true because it fits their agenda.

Kimmel ranted and said FAR WORSE things about Rodgers than Rodgers said about Kimmel.
Can you please provide the list of things Kimmel said about Rodgers that are worse than being a pedophile? If not, I'll assume you just think being a pedophile isn't really THAT big of a deal

I was taught a long time ago to never attempt to count another man’s money. 99.99999% of the world is “kowtowing” including most of this board who are giving him grief.

End of the day you have a multi million dollar contract with your employer on the line, you are going to do what they tell you to do. Particularly with this type of example where Rodgers shouldn’t have put his buddy in that position to have to choose.

Do you own a business, or are you a boss? I bet you censor your employees too, every single boss does. But let me guess, it's different when you do it, right?

It's probably not an ESPN decision, it's probably an ABC/Disney decision. McAfee is a big thing for ESPN but that's kinda chickenshit compared to being the late night host for ABC.

I’m not sure it gets worse than calling someone a pedo but I respect your opinion if you feel differently.

You didn’t actually see the tape I’m guessing. Nothing that Rodgers said was an actual accusation of paedophilia, just clever tongue in cheek allusions
The best part of this is you are simultaneously backing Aaron Rodgers while also saying he 100% acted like a little bitch here. He wanted to get something out there but was too much of a bitch to stand on what he said, so he said the thing without directly saying so he could be a little bitch and backtrack once it was said.

Exactly

It was such a stupid fricking thing to say, it’s insane the mental gymnastics some are going through to justify it just because they lean a direction politically.

Kimmel fricking sucks, Aaron Rodgers seems to genuinely be someone I’d hammer beers with.

He also should not have joked about someone being a pedo as a guest on his friends show. Period.
