Vinny is the 9th leading passer of all time... I'm mean he's no "elite" QB like Bubby Brister or Matt Shaub like Rodgers' comrades....

I'm not a big fan of metrics...nor nerdery.

But I watched Vinny in his prime and I watched Rodgers.

If Vinny played today he'd he Bradford. Bar none - dopple-gangers. Great college success with a great supporting cast, crashed and burned on the big stage and big moments.

Vinny had a few great MNF moments just like Sam tonight.

If you would take Sam Bradford or Vinny Tesdeverde over Rodgers - you are an insane person.

One is throwing against a top five defense in the league. The other isn't. I'll let you figure out which is which.

You realize in recent years Rodgers and the packers have been blowing out teams and winning the whole game for most of his wins right? I guess we should fault Aaron Rodgers for not digging himself a hole most games

Brady, Manning, Montana, Elway, and Marino never blew anybody out either, right?? The stats clearly say if Rodgers is down in the 4th he ain't winning folks...those 2 Hail Mary's are literally 20% of his entire comebacks..........

Actually you can't infer that from the stats without additional context (he had 14 fame winning drives by the way).

For example, Andrew Luck led a fourth quarter comeback last week until his defense gave it up.

Besides, Rodgers has a high winning percentage so comeback or not is not near as important as that statistic.

he's always been way too confident and nonchalant - scrambling with the ball to make a play - but that also made him the best thrower on the run in the history of the game.
so it makes him the best thrower ever but he's "too" confident? That doesn't make sense.

The level of impulsiveness displayed by many people on the MSB during or immediately following games approaches that of a hormonal teenage girl. I'm always amazed at these myopic, emotionally charged threads, though I'm not sure why anymore.

Yeah he's at almost 4/1, which is nearly a full point ahead of #2 Russell Wilson but in twice the number of games and TD's. Most of the other greats are at around 2/1. I don't understand the hate for Rodgers on this board. I assume it's mostly the Saintards that are salty over him being more highly regarded than Brees over the years.

Rodgers will hold several major passing records by the end of his career and already won a SB. He's easily one of the greatest QB's of all time. From a purely statistical standpoint, he is arguably already the best. This doesn't change after one bad regular season game. It's ridiculous to even have to say that.

Something with him has been different since the beginning of last season. I don't know what it is but he might have been the best in the league before that.

Last season his RB was a fat turd and his main WR missed the entire year.

Not sure what's up this season. Sometimes it takes a minute to get in sync.

That said, Arod is the best QB in the league but he needs a bounce back year. Fell off a bit without Jordy last year.

He llnever had a healthy receiving core all of last year. They were depleted.

Remember that one time Peyton manning through FIVE interceptions against the Chargers. God how bad would this board melt is Rodgers did that. But Rodgers would NEVER do that. Qbs have bad games. People on the MSB truly are as stupid as they seem

Did people really believe Rodgers was just suddenly bad after near perfect play the past few years. Some people amaze me
