All of them have rings but one of them doesn't belong with the other 3

Anyone think Rodgers is also a product of the talent around him? Don't get me wrong he is really really good, but if manning Brady or brees were put on that team they would be in the same situation.

ok so im going to take the homer out of me . what would brees and the saints have to do for him to get the mvp?

on a cool story bro note, i played golf with rogers in lake charles for a cops n jocks benefit golf tourney. we all got completely hammered and in our drunken stuper on the 17th hole at lauberge(par 3), i won 100 bucks from him on a closest to the hole bet. i put it in the back bunker and he put it on number 16's fairway . for those guys that are familiar with that golf course, he pulled the shiiiiiiiiiiiit out of it

If you don't think Big Ben belongs in this group, you are mistaken. He and Brady are the only 2 QB's that have multiple super bowl rings over the past decade. Thursday night's performance after his ankle was mangled is proof of his tenacity and grit that is a valuable leader.

Rodgers is clearly having the best year of any player -- but is he really the most valuable? More valuable to his team than Brees? Eli? Or yes, even Tebow?

most valuable player award should obviously go to peyton manning

that last comment got me thinking, who has a better season without their starting qb, without looking at schedule bc that would just be too damn long to look at. cant say indy bc damn we know that answer already

green bay?

Rodgers has been player of the month EVERY month of the season so far (and the last month of last year too I think).

Seriously, if that is the case how in the Hell is anybody else going to be player of the year?

The most valuable player is the best player. The best player should have the highest WAR in baseball, PER in basketball, etc. Of course, it would be silly to look just at one grand number to determine a player's worth, but it is definitely a very good starting point. Therefore, this player would be the worth the most to any team because he would be worth more wins than a league average replacement player.

The previous 10 years had Montana, Young, Favre, Elway, and Aikman. All of which are HOF's.

Yeah, I didn't think about it like that. I thought there wasn't ever going to be a line up like the one from the early 90s. But there was/is and they have surpassed them.
