Okay, second post but after reading the comments it seems a lot of people don't know most of the rumors/full story, and as resident Aaron Rodgers fanatic, I feel like I should fill you all in on some highly inflammatory rumors that have been denied, but nonetheless make WAY MORE SENSE than whatever the publicist say. Years ago, a rumor surfaced that Aaron Rodgers was gay, mostly due to social media posts by his ex-assistant/roomate. These post insinuated that they had recently broken up and that Aaron was ashamed of his true self and that they had hidden the true nature of their relationship from the public. The scorned lover posted a picture of him wearing Aaron's Super Bowl ring as well. You can find this online. At the time, Aaron was dating a blonde bartender you lived in California, and they would have some paparazzi beach pics now and then, but not much else. They broke up around that time too, or shortly before iirc. Shortly after these rumors came out, he started looking for a new girlfriend, and was even seen bowling with Taylor Swift (which is when I started believing he was really gay, because so many of her relationships seem to be with closeted men). Apparently, according to the rumor mill, Taylor thought she could "turn" Aaron so negotiations for that relationship stopped. Then he started dating Olivia Munn. The official story about why Aaron is estranged from his family is that Olivia did an interview and spoke of her sex life with Aaron, and Aaron's conservative Christian parents did not like this, and it drove a wedge between him and his family and he picked her over them. It also helped that Olivia's trainer/friend Brittany Farr (not the same on that was on Nick's season) was dating Aaron's brother Jordan, and he cheated on her. Now...that seemed like it escalated quickly. Why would one interview ruin a family so quickly? I think it was bigger than that. I think that Aaron actually is gay and that either he knows his family won't accept him for who he really is, or they already told him they won't accept him as a gay man. After seeing Jojo's season this was solidified in my mind. Seeing just HOW conservative they are, just how much they defer to Jesus, I can imagine being a homosexual in that family would be AWFUL. Once I saw Jordan's hometown it all started clicking to me. Aaron's family would never accept him for who he was, and neither would the NFL, so he got a beard, and a hot famous one at that, to deflect from all the rumors. Then his family decided they didn't like this person that he was using to please them, but, what was he supposed to do, fire her? End the contract they made? He was lucky to get such a good beard, and his family was not supportive anyway, so why should he suffer more rumor to please people he could never really please in the end anyway? And then they decided it was cool to go on TV and air his dirty laundry. I know I'm being hypocritical because I'M airing dirty laundry, but you can be damn sure I never would about a friend/family member. The Rodgers have no qualms about it. As long as it's okay with Jesus, they can throw their son under the bus.
