Aren’t African-Americans one of the least vaccinated demographics? Seems like an appropriate quote to use.

There is a huge chunk of vaccinated people that took on a complex after getting the shot. Like they were seen as weak or gave in, or whatever the case. While the other half just took the vaccine and moved on with their life and couldn’t care less what people think, and have no reason to shame others into thinking that’s the only choice for everyone.

When Jackson posted a fake hitler quote Mina blamed misinformation on the internet…not the fact that Jackson was trying to quote hitler

It was a bizarre reach

But that’s not the equivalent to the NFL and its protocols in the slightest anyway
Sure it is. It's a stupid fricking rule, so most didn't follow it. Same as the mask thing with Rodgers.

no dummy, there was no punishment if you walked down the street without a mask and generally no one cared

It’s literally the opposite of NFL rules. It’s not the same…at all.

The difference here is that no one signed a collectively bargained agreement regarding covid with the city of New Orleans and aren’t contractually required to follow the guidelines of said agreement

Also if Rodgers hated these rules so much, why didn’t he make a stink when they were being agreed to by the NFLPA and the NFL? He is the packers player rep for the Union so don’t tell me it’s not his place to say anything

Maybe he did? Were you involved in all of those meetings?

As a resident of a particular area, you are agreeing to follow along with the rules/laws of that area, it's basically the same thing.

But again the main role of being in that position is to speak for the group and make these concerns known. If he had done that it absolutely would’ve been public information, and if he really was a crusader for this whole thing and thought the vaccine wasn’t safe and shouldn’t be pushed like this and the rules shouldn’t be this way…why not speak up during the period when this was being done and not only after you got busted trying to hide behind vague language?

“Besides all the things that are nothing like that, it’s basically the same thing”

Signing a contract with a private business is not the same as being a resident of a city. Idk how else to put that, but it’s true

The only ones that needed to know about his vaccinated status knew. That's the NFL and the Packers organization.

Now, did he try and skirt the question back in August? Yeah, but I don't think that's any of our business. I'm not going to be upset at someone wanting to keep their medical status private.

Rodgers has made enough in his life where he could make a stand against mandatory vaccinations in the workplace and be fine. He has enough of a pulpit to actually affect the changes he wants. Instead, he lied and/or misled his team, his union, and his fans.

Compare him to the dude making $50k while supporting a family who has a decision to make because of mandatory protocols. That’s who we should be focusing on. That’s where the freedom of choice and personal responsibility matter.

Rodgers is no hero. If he truly held those convictions he should have stood up, not backtrack after the fact.
