LOLOLOLOL

No, they would not have. LSU would have gone to the Sugar Bowl that year had they lost, just as it should be.

I noticed you ignored the rest of the post, which included Saban as the guest host on Gameday that day where they flat out stated before any games were played that Bama was getting that mulligan despite one of the weakest schedules in the country that year.

You are trying to pretend like every program is treated the same. They are not.

Both of those teams were clearly as elite as it gets

But some are more "elite" than others, especially when they inevitably lose one of the biggest games of their season.

Pretty sure Boo is from the ACC. Ain't life ironic?

I know where he’s from and it makes complete sense why he’s been a complete retard during this whole ordeal

You should start a new thread about that sometime. Might get you closer to the truth corndog.

Iowa had the ball in FG range and fumbled on 3rd down that was likely going to be converted.

Because Michigan had a 25 yard punt from their 13 yard line. Iowa had the ball given to them within field goal range, they didn’t push that down the field, and they didn’t cross the 50 yard line, as I referenced

It would have been a 55 yard career long field goal.

I was just telling you that Iowa had the ball in FG range and fumbled it. At that point, the game would have been a big play away from being tied. Nobody uses that terminology as you just defined. At any rate, you’re wrong about Iowa’s offense never crossing midfield. They did so twice on drives.

By your definition, Michigan's offense crossed midfield 4x and kicked 3FG doing so. Their other FG and both TDs, 17 of their 26 points, were from drives totaling 8 yards of offense.

Michigan couldn’t do anything offensively either. They outgained Iowa’s nationally worst offense by a whopping 58 yards. Nearly 25% of Michigan’s offense was gained in the opening series of the game.

Does the media have the power to sway the committee

The Committee is an arm of ESPN who owns the rights to the playoffs and has exclusive deals with the SEC.

FSU had no shot. Travis or not.

Once Bama beat Georgia, they had to take Texas as well b/c ESPN sure as he'll wasn't leaving the SEC out.

First of all Brock Glenn wouldn't be the starter so unless Tate Rodemaker got hurt again, Brock's crappy performance in the ACCCG is irrelevant.

IT's like judging Bama vs. USF without Milroe. The QB that would be playing in the playoff wasn't playing.

I turned it off because he was bringing up how "elite and playoff worthy" Bama is during his broadcast of the FSU game. fricking obnoxious and obvious.

They cared about money. This isn't hard people. They chose the school who would bring in more eyeballs. Plain and simple.

And it sucks for the sanctity of the sport but it's where we are.

The SEC is also the arm of ESPN. Missouri is now an arm of the SEC. Where have you been?

So bama squeaking by Auburn doesn’t mean anything?

Why do y’all use one set of parameters to judge one team, yet a completely different one tk judge another team? Makes no fricking sense

Because the powers that be consider Nick Saban to be the King of College Football and it is very good to be the King.

At the end of the day this is business and entertainment. I would think the narrative was that FSU would get rolled by anyone, with the starting qb out, and then draw less eyeballs to the tv.

I hope bama wins the whole thing to make a mockery of the committee.
