A&M didn't exactly play a full season, either. But they did lose by 28.

Texas A&M:
Lost to Alabama by 4 touchdowns.
Beat Vandy by 5 points. (Might have been Vandy's best chance to win going 0-9)
Didn't win a conference championship.
That's enough to know they aren't a top 4 team to me.

With the ND beatdown, I'm liking A&M to make it now even more as the committee can now slide ND to 4 to avoid the rematch.

Texas A&M won 2 more games and lost 1. Of the 2 games they won, the opponents had a combined 2-16 record (Miss St and Vandy). The Vandy game was a nail biter.

Eh. We will see. The way around the rematch isn't putting A&M at 3. Its hoping Bama has a weird game where they don't look as dominant and opens the door for clemson to jump them

Yeah I've already said Fla winning would give the edge to A&M, but that's not likely to happen. Sliding ND to 4 gives them an out to say this acccg mattered but not enough to knock ND out.

So in the Aggies will jump Ohio State after a weekend where Ohio State beat a top 15 team in a conference championship and Texas A&M beat a 3-7 team in a regular game.

I’m struggling to understand why A&M is so deserving? They beat a bunch of mediocre to bad teams and one decent one in UF. They got crushed by the one great team they played.
Ohio State, while a smaller sample size, beat 2 decent teams and haven’t lost.
