Not a fan of these Booger-mobile style shots they are occasionally using during play.

I get why they did the illegal rushing defense thing, but if a team does manage to make a good offensive line, it'll be pretty boring watching their QB sit in the pocket for 10 seconds.

Gotta say these guys are getting after it. Lots of hustle.

At least for this game I don't think we'll need to worry about that with the Atlanta line.

Thats way too harsh of a penalty.

I guess they figure that'll make teams not do it fast, but I was expecting like 5 yards.

hopefully AAF and XFl do well and merge in 10 or so years. a full fledge spring/semi-pro league would be legit.
no doubt

It looks like a bunch of amatuers running around with their hair on fire

I kind of see what they are doing with the rule but if this league is supposed to get dudes ready for the NFL it's a bit silly to force defenses to be less complicated for QBs and o-lines to read than what they see in college.

Most accurate kicker in AAF history

The Orlando team is pretty fun to watch.
Classic ball coach offense.
He's coached in four different leagues - college, NFL, USFL, AAF

It's too bad Johnny Manziel is locked into the second year of his 2 year CFL deal. Playing in this league would be so much better for him than having to learn to deal with 12 defenders while stuck with one of the worst offensive lines every assembled.

Todd Marinovich had a game in the Arena League where he threw for like 7 TDs.
Johnny will have one of those days at some point.

I doubt that happens with Montreal. They are so damn bad and Mike Sherman looks lost coaching them.

Oh yeah. It'll be this, XFL, or some no name league, but I think it'll happen.
Too much talent in him like Todd.

If you took a shot every time Simms took a sack you'd already be drunk.
