If the saints had a middle of the road defense, Brees would have an 11-4 record right now.

The SF, Atlanta, Carolina, and Giants losses were inevitable...and largely in part to Brees.

Dallas has a better defense than the Saints so I say they are an 11 win team right now with Brees.

Especially since they would be playing a Saints team with Drew Brees at the Helm.

But now in my old age, I just hate having to sift through all the ridiculous bullshite you post. I mean, it's not like I can just ignore it, because like anyone, part of me likes to see people embarrassing themselves. Even if said person isn't intelligent enough to realize they're an embarrassment. But even that eventually gets old. In your case, the novelty has definitely worn off and it's not really fun anymore to make fun of you. However, I do pray for you. I pray that one day God will give you just enough enlightenment and awareness to do one of those quick "life reflection" things, where you can relive all of your stupidity and for once, see it from the other mans perspective. And in that moment, maybe you will pity yourself, the same way all of us pity you.

I was mad at you at first for caving in and not ignoring the retard throughout this thread but it was worth it for him to read a slice of reality like this.

Even though it will go straight over his head.

meh, the gap between the Cowboys and Saints defensively isn't that huge. And the Saints have actually forced more turnovers if I'm not mistaken. Overall defensively we rank 23rd and the Saints are 28.

Also the Saints get an edge offensively because y'alls running game is about 25 yds a game better than ours. In total offense you guys are #3 and we rank 14th.

No way Dallas is an 11 win team, no matter who is taking the snaps.

Brees is at least three games better for the Cowboys this year. YES he IS three games better in the Cowboys offense than Romo is. NO HATE on Romo. If you look back I have NOT hated on him this whole thread.

Agreed. This team, if it were healthy (but who is at this point?) had a shot at 10 total wins, but I think its playing about as well as it could be right now. Normally, I would give zero shot this weekend, but there's something different this year. So I'll say not likely, but if we get a turnover or two, its possible.

This team had more heart than I've seen a Dallas team have in years. Gonna be a tough environment, though...

I guess I'm just still so surprised that some of these people think Drew is still that much better than Romo. I figured of all people, they'd realize he is a mortal after a few of his games this season. And he has been put in the same situation as Romo a lot of times this year, forced to win games...and you see the result of 18 picks.

Yeah, I think when you put both QB's in the most ideal of situations, Drew Brees is definitely better. He reads better, he's definitely more patient and he won't make the WTF bonehead mistakes that Romo can sometimes make. But I thought it would be obvious to most that thrown in a similar skillet, Romo is actually one of the better guys in the league in these situations. No matter how hard I try, I don't see Drew Brees having more than 9 wins at this point with Dallas's team. I really don't see more than 8, but 9 I can give you.

I don't want to derail this thread into Brees vs Romo since normally I regard Brees as obviously more accomplished and more consistent than Tony Romo... but this year has just not been as good of a year for Drew Brees as his other recent years. Drew has just played poorly at times without SP on the sidelines to help him with playcalling and probably to encourage him to just run the ball more.

Ok I thik THIS is what yiooy are wanting to hear. The Cowboys are TERRIBLE a a shitload of positions, BUT QB is NOT one of them. Like I have said he is a DECENT QB. QUIT tryin to make himout tobe a top three QB. He Is NOT. FACT.

NOW having said that. IF Romo was on the Saints THIS year with all the NO Head Coach and shite. The Saints may only win 5 games. SERIOUS. LOOK at what I am saying.

yeah, I didn't really want it to get to this either. I was really more interested in guys like Matt Ryan, A-Rodgers and then maybe a Cutler would do with the keys to Dallas. I wanted a piece from all the spectrum.

I think he's a little better than DECENT Peej.

He's no Rodgers, P Manning, or Brady, but I think he's a pretty good QB.

Decent is a good term for him. After him the QB's ARE SHITY. I still think THIS years Saints team would have won maybe 5 games IF Romo was the QB. The Saints rallied around Brees BIGTIME. He is a leader that ROMO is NOT even CLOSE TO. FACT.

Well I think Rodgers can just carry a team so they would be better with him. Cutler is a douchebag but also a high caliber QB and I tend to think Ryan is over-rated but the last couple of times I've watched "matty ice" play he has impressed me more. Anyway, I think the comparisons rapidly become useless because everything changes everything at some level. Romo is really good. He's not at the Brady, Manning, Rodgers (or typical Brees) level but he's in that ranking just below it overall IMO.

And that's something a lot of franchises would really appreciate if they had it. If I'm a Dallas fan I'd argue there are only four or so franchises that are in a definitively better position for the most important position on teh field.

The Cowboys are 31st in the NFL rushing stats. The only team worse is Arizona.

Defensively they are 17th against the run and 21st against the pass.

I seem to recall a pretty good QB that played his career in Denver and he had a pityful Super Bowl record until he got an All Pro RB and a defense that was capable of keeping him in the game and giving him a chance to win.

OK. What does THAT have to do with how GOOD Romo is??? I am taliking leadership skills with what you have to work with.
