if there’s any benefit of the doubt though I will say from betting on Kalshi that they do pay out a 3.25% apy interest on open positions so maybe poly market does same and he’s getting interest plus any return the bet will eventually yield

Does he have to sell the entire position at once or can he sell it off piecemeal if they aren't playing well?

assuming the Browns make it that far, to just put $200k on the ML of whomever they're playing in the SB

Well they’re not gonna make it that far, that’s why you lock in now

It's polymarket? So it's not even a casino.

You could argue the comps at a hotel might be worthwhile since you could likely get a weekend suite and buffets (like another 5-10k) and even then it's still stupid.

A hysa world hey you better end results

horrendous bet, especially since it wont be paid till they get knocked out of playoff chance.

way 2 long for that short of return.

might as well throw it on a horse to show, and get your .20 for every $2 you bet. Over in 1 minute ish.

you could get better return on a cd

Bets on the winner of the Super Bowl don’t pay out until the game is over regardless of who is in it.

Is it a sure bet? Yes. Is the payout worth it. No.
