Well that bc this was a harden move not a Daryl move. Harden has been the guy who has been the de facto gm for a minute we know about how he handpicked Gordon and tucker and Chris a few years back.

Just like james was gonna take a back seat to Chris right. 
Chris didn’t hold up his end of the bargain and harden shipped him out quickly. Russ will get the same treatment if he underperforms.

Anytime you have two alpha dog and team loses things won’t be peachy. There is gonna be some butting of heads. But ultimately They were gonna run it back prior to russ being available. Then harden opted to play with his good pal.
