Having watched the game, I feel bad for Washington they got jobbed at the end there. Also I really noticed how dirty Stanford plays on defense. They took a lot of cheap shots that didn't get called. A targeting penalty that even the commentators called right before the half and then a cheap shot on the final drive on Price.

you can see the ball hit the ground...seriously I didn't see it at first but it goes right through his arms, there is a split second where you can see hit hit the ground before he rolls over. I wanted washington to win, but I won't deny I what I saw. still a tough call either way
Yep, the nose of the ball hits the turf. You can see it on the camera angle behind the player.

They had the behind the player replay of the ball falling between his arms...trapped ball. It was on the ground.
You must have a Jerry World type TV in your house?

It was tough for me to tell if he had his hand under it or not since his right arm was blocked. I'll take your word for it; incredibly close call.

You can see from the position of his arms the ball hit the ground. That got it right

Even if the ball might have hit the ground this replay shite is getting out of hand. The game has gotten too technical it pisses me off.

But did you see the ball on the ground?

Absolutely heartbreaking
Hated to see that call end the game. Very tough break and questionable at best, IMO.
Still, you guys have a hell of a team that showed a lot of resolve. UW has come a long way since I watched them in Tiger Stadium last year.

You can infer from the position of his arms the ball probably hit the ground.
Fixed. Call should have stood as called on the field. Period.

You all can convince yourself it was ok, but the call on the field was a catch and no fricking way it is even remotely conclusive from a single replay that is available. This thread proves as much.

Sarkisian should have taken the team and walked off the field after that BS. I remember a Buffalo coach doing against maybe the Patriots I want to say after some shady PI calls once. I would have loved to seen that.

It just feels like we dominated that game and had some terrible breaks. That was a frustrating loss. I still think we can have a good season though.

Yes.

No one CONCLUSIVELY saw shite to overturn the ruling on the field.
Opinion: Did he catch it? No.
Is there any evidence to overturn a catch on the field? Emphatically NO.
Complete over stepping of the rules by the replay official.

So then why are you talking about the position of his arms?
Posted on 10/6/13 at 1:00 am to Sid in Lakeshore
it was pretty clear that it hit the ground
Posted on 10/6/13 at 1:01 am to Carson123987
Nothing was fricking clear.

correct.
but this is just like the people saying Wis QB didnt take a knee a couple weeks ago. people see what they want to see
that play has taken away from what UW should be proud of. They made way to many mistakes and still had a chance to win the game at the end. Great job by them
