Even if he signs I think you're past that point.

check out the timing...the Niners defeat the defending NFC champs in week 1 and suddenly their attitude is "we don't need you anyway"

I think the entire NFL should join together, not draft him next year, and make him join the CFL

Good Idea. He is fricking loser. AND BTW he is not even CLOSE to as good as he thinks he is.

he has absolutely ZERO chance of going in the first round next year...I know he went to Texas Tech but surely even he realizes he will not get 1/4 of the money he is being offered now if he goes back to the draft.

So next season when he is drafted in 3rd or 4th round does he demand 1st round pick money?

He might go to a better team but he wont see playing time early more than likely. He turned off alot of teams with this attitude.

Say hello Bengals

even if he lucks up and goes in the 1st round next year, it will be at the end of the 1st and those guys get around $6 to $7 million guaranteed

So The 49ers are offering him $18 million guaranteed, but he feels he should be getting the $23 million guaranteed that Bey got from the Raiders.

The dumbass is going to EASILY lose $11 to $12 million in guaranteed money by re-entering the draft this year

Not to mention he is delaying his second contract which is where he can make even more money.

Bottom line is that this guy has played football his whole life and was blessed with the ability to take it to a level few that have played football can achieve. Yet he is going to be a greedy bastard and ruin the chance givin him!!!! VERY SAD!!!!! The other TECH WR'S last year that HELP make him so good would LOVE the chance he has.

According to ESPN Radio, his story is that he was injured which caused him to fall in the draft. He wants the money of where he would have been drafted.

No, his problem is purely from an ego point of view. The Raiders, in need of a receiver, straight up passed on him for HB, and because he believes HB is an inferior human being to his majesty, he should at least be getting what he got.

Jed York was just on a bay area radio station saying he wants to meet with Crabtree face to face.

Hopefully he uses the meeting to draw a line in the sand, sign now or get fricked.

Does anybody want to buy my #15 Crabtree 49ers jersey? I'll throw in the #7 Vick Chargers jersey for free.

If you also have a Seattle OJ Simpson jersey, I'm in.

Not defending Crabtree, but is there anybody other than Al Davis that thinks DHB is better than Crabtree?
