Lutcher would shitstomp Curtis this year. Johnnie McKnight trying to cover Jarvis Landry? Please.
yeah ok.....
choupiquesushi -- just curious, is that in response to Lutcher rolling Curtis or McKnight covering Landry?

Its impossible to rank hs football teams nationally.

they shouldnt be ranked that high
or at all actually

Hmmm...Neville must be hitting players up south of I-20 in Carroll's and Wossman district again, like they were famous for under Charlie Brown. Hell Toby Caston lived in the projects and there are no projects in the garden district.

it doesn't even matter if the players are better. schools with better players than Curtis routinely get their heads kicked in because of far superior coaching.
Lutcher has some of the best coaching in louisiana high school football imho. top 5 for sure
ETA: Im not saying they would beat curtis, although its not at all far fetched, but they have beaten teams in recent years that were far more talented. I'm sure you will see a lot of that this year as well.

Top 5 in the RP for sure, but top 5 in the state is stretching it. Probably 6-10 (closer to 10) in the state without really looking at it in depth.
I'm still laughing at the notion that McKnight could cover Landry. Not in this universe or any other.

Lutchers coaching is without a doubt top 5 in the RP. Cant believe that was even questioned.

well you have the big 3, Desty Hahnville, ESJ
then u can argue SCC, St James, West St John and Riverside have had similar success to Lutcher recently. Lutcher has had the luxury of avoiding teams like John Curtis to win state titles, some of these other teams havent.
top 5 in RP maybe, top 5 in the state, no way.

that may be true.. but the other 10 curtis players would make up the difference over the other 10 Lutcher players..
have seen it time and again from JT

Funny how he went from Wossman one year to Neville the next. Just the year after Wossman beat them.

Dupont and Roussell are no longer at WSJ and Riverside respectively, so that's out of the window. Gaillie has won games at St James, but has never won the big one. Scratch it. I like Monica at St Charles, and I think he does as much with as little as anyone down there so he's in the mix.
Dest and Hahnville are in play for sure. Detillier's staff is better than Dautrieve's though.

And I agree with that also, and I think it would be a good comparison on the field.

Lutcher's staff is probably top 10 in state....but I'll tell you this, Dwain Jenkins, Lutcher's offensive coordinator, is top 5 in the state as far as individual coaches are concerned...you'll see him in either a head coaching role soon, or maybe even at the college level

Really? Wow, I didn't realize that. That's great for them.
The guy from Reserve Christian is the AD though, right? Roussell is just doing fb?

Orange Lutheran (CA) goes from #37 to dropping out of the rankings because they lost to Pickerington Central (OH) in the Herbstreit Classic? PC is going to be a Final 4 Caliber team in Ohio! That was a great game between to great teams. I dont get it. Oh well.
