no, creed got shite because stapp was a huge dick head, and hid behind, claiming he was religious. He was an a-hole, who wore out his welcome quickly, and people shat on him.

They got Nickleback hate, but Creed was actually good.

I say that as someone who doesn't like Nickleback, but don't hate on them like others do. It's like pineapple on pizza. I'm not a fan, but the people who jump on the bandwagon of hate make me look bad for my personal preference

Like what you like, who gives a shite

Not knowing if there is actual truth in this or not, I will say I know nothing about it and doesn't factor into my previous post. Just want to clarify my position in self-interest.

Creed was an objectionably harder and edgier and better band than Nikelback, which was a pop soft band
Nickelback is much heavier than Creed, and it's probably why Dimestore Darrell liked them.

Nickelback puts on a great concert. Saw them at Rodeo Houston last year and was impressed. And despite all of the hate, 60,000 + people were singing along to a lot of songs.

Saw them once and wasn’t impressed

But Creed and Nickleback unfortunately became a new age hate. Creed was a lot better and some Nickleback songs were bangers

Weren’t they just under a Christian record label?

I don’t remember him pretending to be religious

His step father wasn't a minister, which was always the claim, but his step father was very involved with the church, as was scott and his mother.while growing into his teen years. And i believe helped them get their first label. Christian rock, with decent looking singer, they saw$$$$.

but he was a huge dick, one of guys i know, who works at enterprise center(st.louis), and handled all the riders and getting bands what their contracts ask for, said he was worst he ever dealt with, and wasnt very christian, like he claimed. I would go down there at times and what these bands ask for and get is amazing.

One band, in contract, you had to turn a large area into an Arabian nights type dealio, with belly dancers, stripper polls, etc. I thought to myself, what a life.

One rapper, they had to get a huge sauce type pan, full of Peanut m&m's, no green colored. Some one forgot to tell runners and she threw a fit over the green colored m&m's.
