Red flag to replace a section of the safer barrier. Without that barrier, Bell hits a concrete wall and possibly dies. Wow!

Cautions eliminated a lot of decent cars today.

Because Nascar has given them some type of advantage. Even Jimmy Johnsons team did great.

Erik Jones has really come on as of late. I guess the Legacy Toyota team is finding an edge.

Reddicks point lead is shrinking rapidly.

Erik jones is very underrated. Toyota was pretty cruel to let him go like they did.

Didn’t they want Bell more than Jones in the #20 so JGR moved Jones to the 77 JGR affiliate furniture row team?

They did want Bell more than Jones. Jones was in the 77 with Furniture Row before he drove the 20, though. After they moved Bell up to the 20, Jones went to Petty Motorsports (which eventually became Petty-GMS then Legacy).

What's crazy is before the wreck he was plus 130 on Hamlin on the live points. Gotta think he was going to finish top 3 in stage 2 and probably top 5 if that doesn't happen. Just the perfect storm with how hot Hamlin has been.

I don't know that Hamlin doesn't still win, but Reddick, Gibbs, Bell, and Elliot looked to be the class of the field before they all wrecked out. I know they won't catch a lot of flack over it but Hocevar, Larson, and Elliot all stepped out way too much and junked some fast cars. Elliot caught the brunt and wrecked himself to, but Larson and Hocevar screwing up on that restart absolutely trashed the field and opened the door for Hamlin, almost sucks that they both finished top 5, so oh well they'll both continue to race like idiots even more.

Crazy how Carl Edwards retirement and Monster’s sponsorship screwed things up.

Suarez was supposed to be the long term solution at furniture row. Monster coming in effectively pushed 5-hour energy out of the sport. And Carl suddenly quitting forced Suarez to a place he was never supposed to go.

Imagine how long cautions will last. Looks good but will be lots of yellow flag time is my guess. SVG will cook
