With Chase winning twice and the fastest he’s done so. And he got off to a slow start in this Gen car due to broken leg in its first year. It seems he’s learning the nuances.
And Chase was the best road racer prior to the car change. So perhaps he’s figuring it out and can give SVG a bit of a challenge. There are a few drivers who want to dethrone him. Will be a fun weekend.
Some Next Gen stats at Road Courses:
Average Finish vs. Average Running Position / Average Points scored (adjusted to 2026 system)

I’m not saying no blame should be put on KB but RCR has turned into shite. Their cars are just not that competitive. KB is obviously frustrated with that and it’s not getting any better. Dillion is just there because of RC and will hold that seat forever regardless of performance. KB needs to find a better team but the major teams are fairly locked in with their drivers so I don’t see where he can go.

All true.
But Kyle had a top 10 going and threw it away for revenge. That has to just kill moral at the team, who has been so awful. And finally getting a top 10 would do wonders. Then you watch your driver just loose his cool and throw all your hard work away.
No matter how frustrated Kyle is he’s hurting his legacy by his actions. He needs to get away from this but where to go. I think Spire is a good fit.

Wow, we have rain tires so might get to see some wet racing. They don’t race in rain but can run in wet track conditions

This is bullshite. Nothing for Kyle? Neither should be fined these little dustups are good for the sport and usually resolve by themselves.

That’s a BS thing to fine Preece for that and it’s why NASCAR has been so vanilla. The second someone steps out of line, NASCAR has a fit.

Agree. Either both or none. Nascar never changes, they sold out to Toyota and this is another example by taking points and money from Preece. Despicable

Dale Jr. came out and said he was shocked about NASCAR fining Preece. This is the stuff that angers fans about the sanctioning body of NASCAR. Not a good look.
