It should have been none. Tempers, scuffles, and retaliations haven’t been getting out of hand at all. If anything, there’s been a lack. Dale Jr. said NASCAR should let it go and go back to the “Boys, have at it” mindset.

71 seems obvious unless him and hocevar can’t be in the same building.
I also like the idea of him just running trucks.

He’s right. That’s part of nascar and what sets it apart from other racing series.

NOAP continues to increase viewers year over year
The CW earned 1,110,000 total viewers for Saturday's O'Reilly Auto Parts Series race at Texas Motor Speedway.
It's an 11% increase over last year's Texas event.

And Cup continues to lose viewers

@A_S12
@FS1 averaged a 1.29 rating and 2.286 million viewers for Sunday's NASCAR Würth 400 presented by Liqui Moly at Texas, down from a 1.38 and 2.6 million last year.

Wow they are putting tire packs on turn 1 and carousel WG
SVG: "I don't like the look of that..."
That angled tire wall SVG mentioned is going to cause a major problem, as angled walls often do. Some of the worst crashes in history, including some at Indy in the 60s and early 70s, as well as crashes at Daytona through the 1984 SpeedWeeks involved cars hitting angled walls.

Yeah this looks pretty sketchy exiting the carousel. Developing soft walls back in the early 2000s, they knew they couldn't put tires on outside oval walls because they would catch a car (pocketing); you need a hard impact plate to deflect a car. A tire wall running parallel to the track on the outside of a high-speed corner might be a storyline examined this weekend

RFK appealing penalty. Good hope they win

Our weekly dose of Jamie Little and Michael trying to hard to hype up the most mundane moments. Got to love it.

Trucks turning into a shite show
Posted on 5/8/26 at 9:39 pm to sledgehammer
They seem to be intentionally make the truck booth worse every week. The racing was great.
If you put the NOAP crew in the booth it woulda been epic! They add so much energy to races.
I would venture to say Cup would increase viewers if they had the NOAP crew.
Announcers make all the difference. Sports are entertainment. And the job of booth is to do just that. And NOAP proves you can both entertain and still get facts out there.
Such a bummer for Chastain. But he did leave early. And to me Gio got screwed by Nascar. He was pushed early and Nascar has no common sense. SVG got 3rd but his truck was shite. And Zilich had the lead on last restart but failed to come over in front of 2nd place and he paid the price for it. Honeycutt raced great to get the win. And chugged a beer.

I like having the guest drivers, but little has to go. The race is consistently my favorite every week.

Kasey Kahne won his first World of Outlaws feature tonight at Williams Grove, after 228 starts over 29 years.
For those who don’t follow sprint cars much, he’s been a highly successful team owner with several titles, but this is his first win as a driver. Pretty cool.

Starting lineup. Rained out and set by car pts and other metrics. Should be by driver and then car for making race decisions. Rajah finished below 30 in last 2 races and its not right he gets pole. 88 won last week but not with Rajah. Track position is huge for road races and it could be dicey at the start

I don’t understand why last weeks outcome needs to matter. Just go by points. Really screws over a guy like Corey Day in this scenario.
