Besides Hovevar winning and doing an epic victory celebration these races are almost unwatchable.
There is ZERO energy in the booth. And they suck at even keeping you informed on whats going on and who is where. Its 100% opposite of NOAP.
Then the TV production is piss poor. It took over 20 minutes to even fond out who was in the big one and who was unscathed. And the race is just one big long commercial. All these pop up ads during the race sponsored by someone’s limp dick. The camera work is flat bad.
And the racing sucks. These cars are just bad at racing. I was hoping all cars unable to go on after big one that would serve Nascar right for a shiity car.
But of course everyone will only remember the celebration and soon forget the bad race. Nascar and network will only show that for the next 20 years to make you forget how bad the actual racing was and how close they keep coming to killing another driver.
Congrats to Hocavar. Like him or not he did a great celebration and was heartfelt after the win. And congrats to the drivers who survived the wreck. Half if them were in back intentionally trying to avoid the big one and it worked for them. Its a shame your strategy has to be run in the back. But thats plate racing. So many no name drivers win them because its suck a crapshoot and luck not skill.
