Yes, Lucas Lawrence threw a nono tonight against us. We threw our #4 starter, plus several relievers. Trying to sneak in a win against the Catholic ace. Kinda worked in our favor, didn't have to waste our best arms on a night where we couldn't get a hit.

Dufrene will start game 2, have every arm available still. Lock in.

It was a good game, expecting another tight one tonight. Place was packed, half the football parking lot was filled up loved to see the support. Rain is suppose to slack off around 4/5 hope that stays the case and it doesnt effect the game tonight

Yeah, Richardson isn't bad at all. The #3 Wascom, may be better.

Damn. Reading the kids knowing all their parents verifies I am, in fact, old.

Happy for ol Westlake.

Used to be a bigger 3a school back in late 70s to early 80s to now they play in Div 3 and are one of the smaller 3a schools with under 500 kids.

Hell we were fringe 3A in 2000-2003. Everyone my age either moved to Moss Bluff/Ragley area after getting their big boy plant jobs. I've been out of SWLA since 2005.

Happy as hell for Hadley and Anderson. Parents are good people.

Weather looks terrible in Baton Rouge until late tonight. Not sure Curtis and Catholic will get the game in today. Nola area is a bit more uncertain, as the weather may stay to the north. Tomorrow looks like much of the same, dodging rain.

Baton Rouge looks clear after 630. Depends of field conditions though. Catholic obviously pulled the big tarp out last night.

Catholic v Curtis canceled today. Exploring options for a field tomorrow. Video of Catholics outfield is like a swimming pool.

Parkview is 100% turf so maybe that's an option. Harahan is dry, but no way Catholic agrees to that.

not a chance they'll move it out of EBR area.

PBS, LO, Walker, Denham and plaquemine all have full turf - I could see Brusly playing at Plaquemine if need be

, WF, EA, SA and Dutch just infield

Zachary full turf too - but they have games to play
