Ha not a lot of variety in the picks for
top 6-8 finishers. Crazy how quick they all fell into tiers.

That's to be expected in a new rules era.
The key to winning a TD F1 race will be the midfield. We know Cadillac is the slowest, and Aston Martin is both slow and has issues. That leaves a five-team midfield to work out. Williams seems to be at the bottom of this pile. Bearman and Gasly appear to be the stars of the midfield so far.

Watching weekend warmup now.
Wheatley leaving Audi so quick is still crazy.
Is it still for “personal reasons”?

That’s all I’ve seen. Still hasn’t been formally hired by Aston Martin. Not sure about gardening leave or if that applies when you move from one country to another.

I love how a bunch of drivers are having issues with the spoon curve. Is it because of the reduced downforce this year?
Perez seems to be a bit of a menace.

Tell me again why Isack got a seat over Tsunoda? If he is going be mid pack at best Yuki should have got the seat at home.
Going to be a rough year for the bulls.

Yuki got 33 points last year in Red Bull while Hadjar got 51 in Racing bulls
Yuki was tied with Lance Stroll in points- that’s a fireable offense

You’re speaking to TouchedTheAxe’s ears.
Yuki would have scored more points in the Toro Rosso last year.
He was looking pretty solid in that car.

Yuki would have had his best season last year in the Vcarb but at the same time Yuki is a known commodity, no reason to believe that after 5 seasons he’s all of a sudden gonna put it all together and be a top driver. Hadjar is still relatively unknown, he has a higher potential ceiling.
These speed drop offs in the straights and long run paces don’t look promising for anybody not in a Mercedes. Gotta get this regulation sorted out. Making a change only for qualifying is silly.
Saw earlier that Ferrari was .6 slower than Mercedes per lap on the long run stints. They are getting posts showing them slowing down on straights taken down.

Pretty awful superclipping happening in the few videos I've seen posted this morning.

Yup, at Albert Park we heard the revs drop before they got to the previously super fast T11-T12 left-right complex. And now at Suzuka we're hearing them drop in time for the previously scary fast 130R, the corner where Allan McNish had a massive crash.

Serious question, and this may change for me as we get outside of far East Asian and Australian schedules, but I wasn’t aware of this thread last year.
But considering the new regs, was the same thread last year more or less active than this year? Max is a child for how he handled that interview, but man, coasting 50 km/h less in a corner for harvesting just kills the sport for me too.
