some smoke about max's team getting DQd for using too many tires. Anyone else see it or just clickbait trash?

Team was DQ'd

Used 28 tires instead of 24.

MotoGP had a rough start to their big return the Brazil yesterday when a sinkhole opened up on the straight. Hopefully the main race goes a little better for them. Today at 1pm on FS1.

Typical. Have had some good close racing and some decent battles. Team adjustments and improvements for a huge formula shift have been really impressive.

Merc nailed the formula and Ferrari did pretty well also.

Mclaren will probably be able to catch up when they get some experience. Red Bull are at least the 4th team on the grid if not worse.

The complaints are dying down as teams get better adjusted to how to deploy power. Two races in and there have been some large adjustments to quell the complaints and more changes/adjustment. For some it will be a talking point until their driver/team is back at the top.

The chassis and aero packages have been good. Cars have more room to pass and they can follow each other

Qualifying is terrible now. It used to one of my favorite parts of race weekend

The power units need work. To much battery and lots of reliability issues. They will get that fixed

The best part of Apple taking over is your access to F1 TV and being able to watch the races on Sky Sports

Aprilia has been amazing thru two races. They've done what Honda, Yamaha, KTM and Suzuki couldn't do: stop the Ducati juggernaut

Aprilia had been dominant the last 5-6 races. I think they went all in for this year before the major regulation change next season. Bez is likable enough. Jorge Martin is probably regretting destroying his relationship with them right before they figured it out.

Mr. Marquez would still dominate them, more of a Max/Senna type personality/talent. Unfortunately, the risk with bikes catches up with you even if it means just one nasty high side.

The man has one mode, and that’s going all out. Rossi and Rossi groupie fans, take notes. MM93 was our generational talent.

You wouldn’t believe all of the people with 46 sticker numbers on track days, let alone the street. Truly is a cult. Great rider, he’s just not as talented as MM from a factual perspective. And if you question them on it, they raise fists before reason.

Never been a huge Rossi fan. Always preferred marc especially with the Lorenzo shite in 2015 but:

Agostini - 8 titles
Rossi - 7
Marc- 6

Jorge finished second but behind his teammate. He’s heavily reported to be signing with Yamaha for next season. I doubt Aprilia goes outta their way to support him in a title fight against Bez.

Marc has 7 MotoGP titles, 9 total

Aprilia introduced an "F-duct" active aerodynamic system on their 2026 MotoGP bike that mimics a 2010 McLaren Formula One trick. The system uses rider-controlled vents—covered by forearms—to disrupt airflow, reducing drag on straights and increasing downforce for corners. Unlike the banned F1 system, it uses no moving parts.

Agree on qualifying. Used to be the most exciting part of the weekend other than the Lap 1 start. Now its just boring - partially because of the formula change and partially because the commentary is pretty tame

Only complaint with Apple is they lump the pre-race and race into one 'episode'.. I used to be able to start the race recording and it would be 2-3 minutes of talking before the formation lap started. Now I gotta fast forward thru an hour of Juan Pablo Montoya and risk running right thru the race start

This is our biggest complaint actually.

Mercedes being accused of gaming the system with how slowly their front wing closes sometimes and how fast other times.
