I’d like to ask for a change in format to our league… guesses shouldnt be locked until end of FP3

I'm not against revising the rules if most players want it. I would require a 60% vote to change, to prevent a filibuster. We can put it up for vote, but I am inclined to wait until after China, because we'll have two weeks to make sure everyone is aware of the vote and can get their vote in.
Now here's why I prefer to lock the predictions before the weekend starts. Because you have a minimum of four days to update your prediction list.
If you want to lock out the list at the end of FP3, let's look at the times. I'm looking at Barcelona, a typical European race. FP3 ends at 6:30 am CT , or 4:30 am PT (my time). OK, I'm already convinced this is a bad idea.
The time of the end of FP3 is going to be all over the place since the races are all over the world. Players are in different time zones. And many players aren't watching all of the practice sessions. The game should not have those kinds of time demands on people. OK so a better idea would be to lock the list after Day 1 (the end of the day after FP1 and FP2). That gives everyone an easier to remember cutoff point. But with the shifting times with the races all over the world, getting everyone to keep up with this is going to punish the people who have a life and don't have time to keep up with all of these sessions.
I'm back to thinking this is just a bad idea for a game with twenty something players.

Herta is the lead guy on the super softs now. He pitted from P13, he's now P15. It'll pay off if he can get to P12 or better. Laps are running out though. Still safety car with six laps left the next time they cross the line.

Herta's teammate Miyata finishes P5, up +8 positions I think. He slaughtered.
After switching to supersofts, Herta lost an additional position to P16. The guy who was behind Herta on supersofts gained +3 positions when they went back to green.

Was thinking the same. The F2 cars can really be thrown around with some light touches not ending a race.
