Not sure they would replace any of the races unless there was a big gap.

Yeah, it would suck but there’s already “too many” races as it is.

As much as I hate saying that at this point in the season.

Open the Apple app and it tells you the local times for everything

I went to the F1 website and downloaded calendar invites that populate on my phone in local time.

Here are my two. Hang out at the casino after qualifying and race.

But if you need to leave with everyone else, get on the metro train heading away from Montreal. It'll be empty, you'll have a seat and it'll just do a UTurn and go back to the station to fill up with hundreds of people.

In my experience you would still have to wait in the crowd outside to get into the station to head towards Longueuil. Once you hit the station doors it is usually a 1 train wait.

They did open the back entrance by Turn 2/Grandstand 12 last year and it seemed to help some.

The Metro is still the best option.

Last year their was the combined impact of the metro strike that caused a few minor issues. Seems like the trains were just passing through the island heading south.

I went for the first time in 2024. My sister and I are going to try to do a race every other year. We do the F1 experience so we can only afford to go every other year. My wife would absolutely kill me if she knew how much i spend on this trip.

F1 says all is on as planned, but keeping an eye on the situation.

WEC just cancelled their race in Qatar scheduled for 3/26.

F1 is supposed to be there two weeks afterwards.

They need to cancel it permanently. While it's marginally better for WEC than F1, it's still a shitty track for a season debut. The only reason it's better for WEC is the multi-class aspect causes some chaos.

Unless Iran agrees to a ceasefire, they have to cancel the F1 events. A grand prix is too delicious of a target for their missiles. I think the timing for the initial strikes was bad (they should have waited until after the capitalists had their fun). The pressure is now on the US to get Iran to agree to a ceasefire, and bombing the shite out of them isn't going to do it. It's gonna take actual diplomacy and dealmaking. I'm not optimistic but ya never know.

Yeh I expect they will be cancelled shortly. It’s just not worth it.

Looks like Lando got a raise.

Thought Norris and Oscar were paid the same with last year’s contract. What happened?

Eh, he’s not worth it. I’d take a quarter of the grid over Norris including Piastri still.

Yeah, put it on the list of why you aren't a team principal.

Norris beat his teammate that had a huge lead and one of the greatest drivers of all time down the stretch.

I’d take Verstappen, Leclerc, Albon, Sainz, Piastri (still young and developing), Alonso, and Russell over Norris.

Put Norris in that second RB seat and I don’t think he makes it 2 years.
