He prolly isn’t wrong but it’s sad. Not sad that the average fan doesn’t care but sad that the people put in charge don’t care.

Was reading some about that this morning as well. Saw that Imola might be an option. Can you imagine Kimi bringing home the driver’s championship in Italy at the end of the year?

I don't think the teams want battery information out there and some of the widgets used early in the season were pretty tough to monitor. They would need improvement to be useful.
If F1 ends in Europe Im guessing Portimao and maybe Paul Ricard.
Would love for a German track to make it but there doesn't appear to be a German demand.

Imola, Portimão Portugal, and Turkey are reportedly on the shortlist to fill the remaining vacant slot on the 2026 calendar.
Imola in November or early December will be different. I think that part of Italy gets cold, overcast, and rainy in the winter.

If I had disposable income and no kids, I'd for sure hop over there to experience that. Would be even better if he went into the final race just needing like a point or something. That would be an epic party.

That would be an awesome trip. It’s always cool when they play the Italian national anthem after any race but being in Italy for it would be something else.

Good for them. Hope Alonso is back to being a menace in the midfield(at least) again soon.

OFFICIAL: The title of this year's race in Malaysia:
'Formula 1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix in Malaysia'.
When I first saw your post, all I saw was that there was going to be a race in Malaysia, very cool. (actually very hot
It wasn't until I was reading an article about it later that I really understood the name of the race. It's the "Bahrain Grand Prix... in Malaysia."
This is certainly not without precedent. For years the San Marino Grand Prix took place in another country (in Imola, Italy).

European GP was the original title of the Baku race.
It was held in Turkey for years which is kindof in Europe.
