Isn't BYD China's equivalent to Tesla?

Well would be fitting with the way they fricked up the regs and tried turning F1 into Formula E

Already enough teams on the grid and if they truly want to get in the game, need to take one of the spots from the bottom feeders.

Weather looks pretty good too. Cold but I would rather that over the 90° days.

Sunday rain chance has been slowly creeping up. Fun track when it rains.

I didn't realize it was a sprint weekend. That's two in a row.

All right, sorry I forgot to remind people earlier this week, but tonight the prediction lists will be locked. With just one race over the last two months, we gotta get back into the groove now!

McLaren with the big upgrades! Will they start to dominate again?

Will George continue to slump compared to Kimi?

What's up with Ferrari and Red Bull? Have they indicated that they expect increased performance in Canada? I haven't heard anything.

I've heard rumblings that the relationship between Ocon and Komatsu are so bad that there is speculation that he might not last until the end of the season. I guess we'll see in the next few races if Bearman continues his domination (17 pts vs 1 pt so far).

Also let's look at Red Bull. Max 26 pts, Isack 4 pts. As the car evolved into Miami, the gap between them got bigger. Lawson has 10 pts and rookie Lindblad has 4 pts. Looks exactly like last year. The VCARB guys have an easier time extracting speed than the Red Bull #2 driver.

Oh wait, Ocon is denying that there is a rift, and says Komatsu will back him up later when he does a media session: formula1.com/en/latest/article/stories-have-been-fabricated-ocon-denies-haas-rift-rumours-ahead-of-canadian-grand-prix

So Carlos has done a few laps of the new Madring, which is still under construction. For a "street course," most of it looks like a road course. It starts and ends in a city-like area, but it goes out into an open area where they appear to be building a purpose-built road course. They may become public roads, but they are clearly built with racing in mind. There is a rising section that turns at the top, like a mini Turn 1 at COTA except that it turns right. There is a wild banked corner that is similar to the new banked last turn at Zandvoort. This may be the best "street course" we've ever seen. Coming in September!
