Max's team made a mistake. When Max worked his way up to maybe P5 or around there, they should have pitted him with the front runners so he had a chance to fight for a podium, instead of saying out and hoping for rain to give him the win.

I mean...they did move the race up to a dry slot in the forecast. If it starts pouring in the next hour or so, then they would have been right.

They moved the start time up by three hours to avoid the thunderstorms. They successfully avoided thunderstorms.

Lando had a shot to catch him with Max out in front but was too much of a puss. Had 30 plus laps to try and catch him. Couldn’t make up any ground. I’m a McLaren fan but Lando just seems content half the time.
