Nope, but no chance in hell they come close. Especially after the Europe numbers, outside of Italy, show 20-40% decreases in viewership over the first 3 races.
Compound the already soft numbers with going behind a paywall and I'd bet its a bloodbath for Apple at this point.

In this economy. 
I took it as the pain and suffering F1 fans are enduring due to this formula. It's really amazing some of these fan can power through the adversity.

Anybody else have trouble with Apple? The HDR+ looks like arse on my TV. All muddy looking terrible. If I go with the stream camera from sky from the apple tv. It looks great, but the problem is that is only when watching live. I hardly ever watch them live It is so bad I watch on my F1 Tv subscription instead. I was going to cancel F1, but it's only $27 or so a year and has older races on it so I am going to keep it.

I watch through the F1TV app instead of the AppleTV app. Seems the non-native Apple TV (i.e. Android TV) has some functionality issues. Likely purposefully modeled by Apple.
Also, fwiw, you can watch F1 through the Amazon TV app for less than paying for full Apple subscription. Think it is a 8.99/month add on.

What’s your setup?
You can watch the Sky Sports “feed” post race by watching it on the Apple TV App and switching the audio to the international English feed.

I read earlier that F1 was considering racing on Saturday instead... Don't know how they pull that off, especially since FP1 is tomorrow. I guess they could do FP1, 2, Quali Sat morning and then race Saturday afternoon, but I thought the FIA had stipulations of mandated time between quali and race
