Is it crazy that number 5 Fritz usa is on espn 2 and not on espn main channel.

They typically put centre court on main

They show centre court on ESPN and Court 1 traditionally on ESPN2 from what I remember once they get down to the quarters.
It’s at least better than the Australian a few years ago when it felt like they were doing everything they could not to show the Americans on TV.

Amazing how fast that turned around for Sabalenka.
On serve down 40-0, at 2-3. Ends up breaking and now up 2-5.

Served so well in his last 4 games or so and the tiebreak.

At least Turner put the double matches on Tru TV...ESPN you basically need + unless its a final.

Let’s see if the German can hold. Probably not.

Her best appearance at Wimbledon has been making the second round.
At 37, she’s in the quarters. Pretty damn impressive.

ESPN's coverage of the grand slams is subpar. I love when they spend 30 minutes with a roundtable in the studio while there are matches being played that they could show.

With ESPN+ I can choose any court I want, including juniors and doubles matches
Also, they are showing every single point of the singles matches between espn and espn2

she’s playing incredibly well right now.

It’s more Sabalenka playing poorly than anything.
She is in her own head.

She can barely crack 90 mph on a serve and basically playing anything offspeed on both wings and still winning.
Like a 1990s womens clay court match

This ump has let Siegenund get away with these late serves too much. It’s pathetic. I get a split second but she is going over three or four seconds every time.

Honestly good to see chipping easy forehands and slow play not get rewarded

Well the most impressive thing in this match is that Sabalenka kept her shite together

Agree. I understand pacing yourself, but basically forcing the ump to ignore your delay tactics by using them so much is not entertaining.
