VIR is a copy, albeit a third the length, of the Nurburgring in Germany. It’s a grueling track, would make them work for it, and is out in the woods like a road course should be. Check it out.

I wonder how long it will be until the "Steve's" are relieved of their responsibilities? You can't have two of the big leaders of the sanctioning body showing negative bias towards certain team owners. It starts to bring into question the integrity of how NASCAR runs things.

Hopefully soon. Jim France, too. Unfortunately, I don’t believe any of them would be replaced by people who will return NASCAR to its glory days.

This outcome is hopefully going to be transformative. I think the turning point in the trial was the testimony of France himself. How the frick does a man of his stature get on the stand and tell a judge and jury he doesn' t know how much money he makes? NASCAR was going to lose and lose big and they saw the writing on the wall.

NASCAR was double dipping on the tracks they own and having to sell those would have been unrecoverable for the France family.

From the testimony during the trial, NASCAR's answer to the teams profitability concerns was always to cut cost and not exploring ways to increase revenue. This will change that formula.

Major kudos to MJ and Polk for having the nuts to challenge the status quo. Hendrick and Penske are both billionaires but didn't have the nads to tell NASCAR to FO.

Another thing is although certainly not Denny's biggest fan I hope you guys will give him the respect his role in all this. Major props to all the plantiffs for taking a stand.

Maybe this will turn the tables on putting a better product on the track.

Its estimated by some that permanent charters will jump to $150 million each in value.
That will keep all but the very wealthy out of NASCAR racing.

All the lawsuit did was lock out any new teams. The same people are still in charge of Nastycar.

The HP increase is not a bigger engine. Its the same engine with a bigger spacer. Its not enough to matter.

The clown car is still the same.

Tires are still too grippy.

Nothing has changed. Except teams have a higher valuation which means it will be harder to ever sell. If teams are smart they sell high now before prices crash later.

Yeah. Don't look for any new race teams to come along. The Haves are shutting the door behind them.

Plane crash in Statesville. It was Biffle’s plane. I’ve seen some reports that state biffle and his family were on it.

Hope they’re wrong….

I don’t think it’s wrong. Read on Twitter they were supposed to go to Florida for some event with Cletus McFarland. Looks like they turned around pretty quickly after takeoff and crash landed with a full tank of fuel. Not good.
