Well, I suppose the sun is well and truly setting on the golden generation. Gotta say I am a little sad to see it end, although we all knew even Djoker was eventually going to start to fade a bit. Didn’t see the whole match but I knew it was a long shot for him to win this one. Maybe he can prep for grass season and make a run at Wimbledon. Good match from Sinner, he really is a terrific player. Djokovic made him work for it and he just hit the shots he needed to.

Win your money back on Alcaraz

Fanduel has it straight up at -110 on each guy. BetMGM has it at -110 Carlos, -105 Sinner. Sinner favored at DraftKIngs -115 to Carlos -105.

Alcaraz
Seemingly the only person in the world that can beat Sinner at tennis.

It was me first Tennis wager since Aussie Open so I actually get the full $200 stake back as a "free bet". Will probably use the $200 on OKC Thunder in Game 2

Well, it takes elite movement and hands/variety. He is the only guy with that package right now to counter what Sinner has.

Is it too early to start talking about a potential Sinner Calendar Slam?
Sinner's odds to win:
French Open (Final vs Alcaraz): +104
Wimbledon (favorite): +145
US Open (favorite): +120
Odds from BetRivers.

Every grand slam final for the next decade will be these two facing off right?

He’s probably the favorite due to being #1.
Since Djoker, Nadal, or Fed never did it in a calendar year, I’ll say no

Check the fine print, I think the free bet is just on tennis

I really hope not, but that's what it looks like. Who beats them right now? I'd hate to see Fed, Nadal, and Joker's records falling in about 15 years because these dudes take down 2 Majors each year with somebody stealing one here and there. Somebody needs to step up.

I doubt he wins Sunday.
Sinner or Alcaraz? I think Sinner wins this one in 4 sets.

Men's final is pretty much a pick 'em at most sites now.
Coco and Sabalenka in about an hour.

Some great tennis here with the wind conditions.

This has been a wild first set

Coco blows a 4-1 lead in the breaker
Hopefully she doesn’t just fold. Definitely the set of the tournament so far

Damn I know this is a lazy, perhaps shitty take, but it frustrates the hell out of me watching WTA and the fact that even the best just can't consistently hold serve in big spots. You almost never see top level ATP matches that go break, break, break, break. Coco should've put second set to bed right there.
Rant over and I will enjoy for what it is. (Geaux Coco)
