Lawson was blown in the ditch by Bearman however.
Caio.
Amazing change of fortune in the week since Melbourne where they were nowhere.

Max should be on the phone with Toto negotiating a contract for next year... Either Russell or Kimi would be a better teammate.
RB screwed Max by not signing Sainz.

I think one of the announcers compared it to the time Schumacher almost drove Barrichello into the pit wall at Hungaroring (IIRC). Barrichello ended up off the track at the pit exit.
In the post race interviews Bearman said "Oh, that's where all that dust came from!" while both he and Ocon laughed about it.

Holy shite. The Ferrari memes just write themselves, don't they? A double DSQ for two different reasons is insane at this level.

What do the Yuki fans want see? Would you rather see him get called up to Redbull now and drive a difficult car that doesn’t have the overall pace, or would you rather him have a solid year driving for racing bulls and then potentially find a new team in the offseason.
So let's look at the first three races of the year. In the sprint, Yuki started P8 and finished P6. He's doing great when the team doesn't have to make any decisions
But then there are the two grands prix. Outside of the top four teams, in qualifying VCARB has been best of the rest. They look to be the strongest mid-field team. But in both races the team completely botched the pit decisions. In Australia, Yuki was running P6 (and would have ended up where Albon did, P5), when the team decided to keep him out on dry tires instead of pitting, taking him right out of the points. And in China, the team had the two drivers do a second pit stop, when no one else around them did a second pit stop. The team was reacting to Stroll pitting, who was just in front of Yuki. But Stroll was on a completely different strategy. He started on hards and was on a clear one-stop strategy. They never should have reacted to what Stroll was doing, they should have been monitoring Ocon and Antonelli behind Yuki, to see if there was an undercut attempt. If the guys behind him aren't attempting an undercut, Yuki should have stayed out. So from P7, Yuki was taken out of the points by the team yet again. He should have ended up where Ocon did, in P5 :headdesk: So instead of two P5 finishes, no points at all (well I mean if Yuki's front wing didn't fall apart). They have botched Yuki's strategy so many times the last few years.
So to answer your question, yes, Yuki should switch to Red Bull if given the chance, just to get away from VCARB's consistently terrible strategy decisions.

Horner and Helmut would have pissed away the best car, designer and driver.

So from P7, Yuki was taken out of the points by the team yet again
ETA: Fat Brown already told his drivers Osama wasn't pitting so it's not like it was a huge secret the leaders were staying out

Good weekend for Piastri.
Can't afford a big gap to Norris.
Now back to 10 point difference.
Doohan with an impressive 4 point penalty on the super license.
Might end up with more penalty points than championship points.
And Alpine the only team without points.
The rb's once again show you could put a 12 year old in charge of strategy and fair no worse.
Once again red bull go with a driver with little experience and pay the price.

Final points
Ok, how about Haas! I said they may not get points this year. 5th and 8th on 2 different tire strategies. And boy was I wrong.
And holy cow, Bearman was impressive! I love they showed him and all the moves he made to pass. Kid has some major driving skills. He made so many passes and got robbed of Driver of race award. I kept waiting for him to fade at end and he didn’t. Came away very impressed especially after the race 1 disaster. Ocon too, drove a great race.
And what a bad hire Lawson was. He really has to be taken out of car. RB are a constant meme with him right now.

And LOL at RB drivers points. Max at 2nd and Lawson at 20. Has there ever been such a disparity for same team drivers?
