How is Charl with a broken front wing much less so much faster than Lewis?

They are speculating that it is actually helping him aerodynamically.

Hmm, on mediums, Albon pitted at the end of lap 20. Not sure he can go 36 laps on one set of hards.

Bearman only lasted 26 laps on hards. The latter part of the race is on lower fuel, but Albon stretching a set of hards to 36 laps is a big order.

So maybe all that wind tunnel testing required to shape all those hundreds of carefully shaped parts on front wing is a bit over hyped? Lol. He literally has been racing without that vertical piece on his left front wing since the 3rd corner of the race.

Lawson is trash, just got passed easily by a Haas, they said earlier Albon we further on mediums than Liam did on hards.

ESPN has a free English broadcast/stream also, it started a couple minutes after the Spanish one

Stroll is having a fantastic race. 32 laps on hards, in P7, and Yuki with 20 laps on his hards can't close up and pass him. Stroll has to pit for mediums, while Yuki and the guys behind him have the option of hards or mediums.

Stroll came out just in front of Yuki. He has to make mediums last 19 laps. Yuki on hards might be able to get him at the end of the race.

Edit: Stroll did 36 laps on hards. So Albon, on lower fuel, should be able to do 36 laps on hards and have a great finish.

Wow, Yuki's front wing broke while he was braking. It just popped.

VCARB completely botched their strategy, again.

The only front-runner to pit twice was Hamilton, who fell back to P6.

At the back, Lawson and Bortoleto pitted twice.

Then there is VCARB, both cars starting in the top 10, pitting twice and falling way out of the points. Not to mention Yuki's front wing breaking while just braking.

Both Haas cars are in the points!!!

Great job Albon as well.

Bearman then went 30 laps on mediums!

And finished P10 !

This pass was pretty nuts. I had Ocon's in car going saying "that fricker is trying to block on the straight." Almost expected a Ham/Rosberg wreck.

I think one of the announcers compared it to the time Schumacher almost drove Barrichello into the pit wall at Hungaroring (IIRC). Barrichello ended up off the track at the pit exit.
