Does Max take a chance with that clusterfrick of an organization? Or does Piastri/Lando look to move over there to be the true #1 and open up an opportunity for Max to move to McLaren.
Max has positioned himself to be in the best car in 2027, wherever that may be.
I kinda want it to be Aston w/Horner just for the drama.

Why would he do that? is Aston Martin supposed to have a legit contending car next year? Seems like an odd down grade, especially given you'd be leaving the team you dreamed about driving for.

Finally watched the replay. What an opening lap. Excellent wheel-to-wheel racing. Not the most entertaining race but the WDC battle continues to intrigue.

I didn't get to watch until last night. I enjoyed it a good bit too. One of the better races this season imo.
I've said this before but it's so odd that the middle of the pack has been so much better as far as competition goes but overall the races just haven't been as entertaining to me for some reason.
Max is such a freaking machine. This year is honestly more impressive than his championship years. I don't think anyone else would have that car competing for a championship.

Could not agree more. When he has the fastest car he simply has to drive consistently at the front, and that's not interesting. Guys like Damon Hill and Jenson Button won championships only because they had the fastest cars and ran races from the front (for at least part of season). Lando will probably win the WDC, and he'll be worthy, but he's showing himself to be below the top tier of drivers. Max is having the most impressive season. So much so, that even though I hate the idea of Max winning five championships in a row (I much prefer to crown new champions than see a long streak), I'm rooting for Max to pull it off, simply because he deserves it.
