What he's saying is those who started watching F1 after watching DTS have commercialized the sport and that's why ticket prices have skyrocketed.

Instead of focusing on motorsport and racecraft, some of those new fans only watch for the drama like it's a soap opera.

Not saying that about you.

His rally wreck was in Canada?

Congrats to him for sure. Such a racer. Watched him hammer a rental car around the ring a few years ago in prep for the 24h race I guess and now he’s winning Lemans is awesome

Oh, that one. Yeah, crazy wreck for sure but the rally wreck that impaled him and he almost lost his hand was the one I was thinking about.

Looks like Nico is on the call again. Spicy commentary!

Drive to Survive is probably the best thing to happen to the sport.

Bernie had almost killed it and Liberty made the sport relevant again. For however long that may last.

(Kubica 2007 crash)

Kubica won the Canadian GP a year later, so this particular crash didn't harm his F1 career.

Yup, never regained full mobility in his mangled arm. I don't know how he even got into an F1 car again after that.

Not so hot take: Max gets the starts. Oscar up to P2. Russel to P3.

And this is why I'm not anywhere near the top of the pick 'em leader board.

Albon is being totally screwed by his team.

I guess they are trying a one-stop strategy?

Max back in touch with Russell. Let’s see if he destroys his tires again.

There's no way the 1-stop works, right? The mediums are to just too garbage. You'd need to take the hards to 50 laps, at least. 55 would be better.

I'm thinking hards 40 laps, mediums 30 laps. The mediums will last longer on the low fuel load for the cars who started on hards.

Ocon, Sainz, Tsunoda, Bortoleto, Lawson, Gasly still on their first set of hards.
