Mentioned last night but he is a wreckfest driver. Drove right thru back of Rowdy.

Great race by Bell. Drive through the field.

So, why didn’t all cars stop on that second to last pit stop? They needed to treat it like a road course and pit when in the fuel window. Really surprised that so many top running teams didn’t do that.

And Nascar has ruined the racing. Keeps getting worse. First 2 races only good due to plate racing. Teams are so restricted in pushing limits that cars are all the same. It’s mostly all strategy and not racing now.

Should just rub 10 lap sprints 30 times.

Bell overwhelmingly had the best car all weekend. Did you not like the result?

Bell deserved the win. He pretty much drove off from the field. The Toyota's were by far the best cars going. The diffusers and rear spoilers getting replaced for what they consider short-track racing was silly and unfair.

These cars are just becoming cyborgs and images of a bygone era. The golden age of car manufacturers actually racing each other is so long gone. I miss it.

Phoenix historically does not put on good racing. The track is set up in a way where you won't see cars passing each other, or even beating and banging. You'll occasionally see the great finish, but that can happen anywhere.

Kamui Kobayashi returns to 23XI Racing for COTA. There will be at least 2 open cars, with MBM (Carl Long's team) announcing Matt Jaskol to drive in that race.

Something super small like those stripes just hits me right in the nostalgia bone and looks great with cars whizzing by. Love this.

@NBCSports is planning a switch to its @NASCAR booth for part of the 2024 season, with @LeighDiffey to take over as lead announcer for Cup races in the weeks after the @Olympics break, per sources.

Surprising news, although I think Diffey is great. It'll be interesting to see what other booth shuffles might happen after this and Dale Jr's move.

I think NBC is losing IndyCar. Which means you may see Rick Allen follow Jr. to Warner/Prime. Maybe even CW

Allen will still call NBC's xfinity broadcasts, so I think a move to the CW is a possibility. A deal elsewhere might already be known behind the scenes, which would explain NBC switching things up midseason.

I could be totally wrong, but I feel like Prime/Warner will go after Bestwick. Amazon opened up the checkbook to bring in Michaels and Herbstreit for TNF, so I can see them wanting another splashy hire alongside Dale Jr to legitimize their NASCAR broadcasts.

From your lips to God's ears.

Him and Junior would be a dream pairing.

Bestwick is my favorite announcer of all time for NASCAR. He and Junior would be the best possible outcome we could hope for. I’m sure they’d add a third to join them.

Would love to hear Bestwick calling NASCAR races again. I always loved the NBC booth with him, Benny, and Wally Dallenbach. Loved him on ESPN with Andy Petree and Dale Jarrett, too.

It’ll be different having a British guy calling Cup races, but I don’t care for Rick Allen so I won’t be sad to see him go.

Diffey has called NASCAR before. He’s called F1 races too. Doesn’t matter that he’s an Aussie. He’s good.

A choice I’d like to see get a chance at play by play is Mike Bagley. He’s been awesome when NBC has done the radio style broadcasts.

Ken Squires and David Hobbs were great. On the ESPN side, Bob Jenkins and Larry Nuber were very good.
