Good finish for RFK Racing. Both cars finish in the top 5.

I hope this race isn’t a sign of things to come with the supposedly improved short track package for 2024.

Good win.

Hendrick cars got screwed due to put strategy and.cautions falling when they did. Can't be upset over Chase's run today. They had a top-10 car those circumstances pushed him down closer to 20th.

Another thing that I find aggravating:

The personalities from SiriusXM NASCAR Radio sunshine pump NASCAR so much. One of the morning hosts is already on Twitter lamenting the fact that people found this race boring and parroting the old line that people who found this race boring must want a crash fest.

Toyota has been good at short flat tracks for a while now. Nothing to do with the package.

Bell dominated everyone during the Phoenix test run as well

Chase hasn't had T-5 on a track outside a road course and super speedway for a while now.

You're right. He was trending that way until pit strategy and cautions screwed the Chevy Brigade.

I've been as critical of Gustafson as anyone, but this wasn't on him today. He had Chase a pretty good car.

It was interesting listening to some of the post-race reactions from drivers when asked about the package. Chastain paused and diplomatically said last year's package was fine.

The only "positive" comment I heard was Buescher saying that he didn't think it was worse than last year.

I think Bristol will be the litmus test of the new package next week
