Bowman didn’t win the race…

Some good cars got caught up in that.

Yep. The two Childress cars, Kligerman, multiple Kaulig cars, JH Nemechek.

All kaulig cars got swept up in that.

And there’s the Malcolm in the middle reference

Damn, what happened there, Allgaier?

2 things.
1) This race bore out, once again, why, unlike everyone else who follows the sport, I detest "plate" or pack racing. Drive around waiting on the the wreck. Then the winner comes from the driver who doesn't have the best car, they're just the luckiest.
2) The guy who triggers "the big one" shouldn't be rewarded with the race victory...
Down vote away.
Nothing you said is wrong. And Nascar likes the wrecks. Think about driving every day. 9 out if 10 people slow way down to lookie loo any wreck. It sells. But its cost Dale his life too, and the sport had been in a slow death spiral ever since.
Even though they could make it so cars can’t bump draft pack race for a whole lap they never will. It sells.
Also, I like stage races for select races. But not this one. The early pit strategies was cool and broke up into smaller packs. Would love to have seen how that played out over a race.

I don’t think I’m going to make it to the end of this race. Eyes are already getting heavy.

Pretty interesting that Sammy Smith’s pit crew in the Xfinity race tonight is William Byron’s Cup pit crew. They just won the Daytona 500 and now they have to pit another car for another race.

I like seeing Brandon Jones running good tonight. He went to JR Motorsports with promising expectations, and did a Menards commercial with Dale Jr, but wrecks seemed to seek him out last year.

Natalie Decker is leading this race.
Edit: Nevermind.

It was fun while it lasted. Decker leading laps definitely wasn't on my bingo card tonight.
It feels like a big one is due any minute.

SVG almost caused it. Solid saves by him and Burton though.

Race is going to last forever.

SVG just arca braked Jeb Burton.

I used to watch Sage Karam in IndyCar. Now here he is up near the front at Daytona with 11 to go.

And he wrecks with 9 to go.

Is that the third time #7 has gone for a ride?
