Anyone up for a NASCAR Cup Series race in Brazil?

Why not? I’m not going to races in person anyway.
And the racing most likely won’t be worse.

I’m all for an international race. But nascar would have to foot the freight at a minimum.

Why do you care about that?
Real, not sarcastic question.

I think he’s saying that’s why it’s unlikely. Because it will only happen if they pay for it.

Correct. Pretty sure F1 pays for freight or they pay the bulk of it. Teams wouldn’t be able to afford to send cars and equipment to another continent without help.

Talladega could move to the third round of playoffs next year.

Mexico City looks like June 8.

Suárez got a 1 year extension. Time for trackhouse to get a charter for SVG.

I bet Suárez only got a year because Justin Marks wants to see how quickly Connor Zilisch gets up to speed.

This is stupid. Isn’t that the last set of 3 races before the title race? If so its madness to put a plate track in it. Those are just 100% luck and being in right spot, dependent on if someone pushes you at right time or not.

Playoffs are stupid. Chase is stupid. Been saying it for 20 years.

Season long points format is the best way to crown a champion.

Right now there are 3 drivers really close and 4th is not far out. 5/6/7/8 would have a shot due to how many races left. Would have been a great finish to season to see them all chasing the title.

I love this move with the tires. Will obviously require more strategy.

I have three TVs in my garage. Tonight I had here different races on those TVs. One had the North/South 100 dirt late model race. One had the NASCAR truck race, and the third had the Knoxville Nationals.

He guy winning the truck race grew up 10 minutes from my parents’ house. That was cool and all but I didn’t pay close attention to it. The N/S 100 was pretty damn good from start to finish and Kyle Larson won his third Knoxville Nationals title in the past four years. 20 laps of the N/S race had far more excitement than all 250 laps of that truck race.

Larson is at his peak and if you are a race fan only paying attention to the NASCAR stuff then you need to wake up. He’s backing up the argument of him being mentioned with the likes of Foyt and Andretti right now.

Yes, lots of other racing. Next year when Nascar goes PPV for those 5 or 6 races I’ll watch more of the other series. In a way it will help wean me off Nascsr in the long run which I think is best.

Here’s a 5 minute Larson interview.
