That's true but now they always either have a safety car or red flag if it's wet enough for the full wets. I'm not sure why anyone would pit for the full wets in this new era of F1.

This red flag was almost inevitable as well. Staying out was an easy choice for Red Bull.

It really shows what drivers are the best and what teams have the best strategies. I enjoy a wet weekend to change things up.

You pit for wets because you know the red flag is coming or it’s so bad you can make up a pit stop in one lap.
