verstsppen has always been comfortable playing chicken. I agree with the sentiment that other drivers need to call him out on his shite but it’s much harder to ask other drivers to crash out against him

He didn't. He invented late braking with no intention of making the corner as a way to defend against faster cars.

The rules are the rules, but two years ago at COTA Russell completely takes Sainz out of the race when he was in the lead. To me the penalties are never representative of the effects they have on others. I’m surprised teams don’t use 2nd drivers like hockey enforcers…

There is a difference between racing at low level amateur and the highest level where you are paid tens of millions to put your body on the line.
Every championship team is pushing the limits to win, weather that’s strategy, technical or driving. Lando will never win a championship unless he gets his elbows out.
Does max cross the line sometimes? Yes? But there is a reason he’s the best driver in F1 right now.
