Perez is hot garbage and needs to be replaced. No reason for him to be that far off from Max.

Perez consistently half a second slower than Max. It’s like clock work.

At a track where a bunch of guys are separated by less than a tenth of a second, this is a massive gap.

Oscar has to accept that his job is to be the #2 driver and protect a Lando win tomorrow.

Lando has to beat him to turn 1.

Not if he has a faster reaction time when the lights go out and he overtakes Lando heading into the first turn.......

I've generally always preferred the McLaren driver policy of equal drivers. But we're now in a situation where I think the old Ferrari policy of a clear #1 and #2 is better for McLaren.

You make a good point. I agree. It's about the points now.

It seems like a lot of drivers are complaining that conditions were more difficult in qualy.

Albon had some interesting comments on tire graining. He said some drivers have been experiencing it more than others (I think he was referring to long runs during practice), and that if a guy gets graining early in the race, he's going to be in trouble because they are expecting a one-stop race. He said that guys further back can gamble on a two-stop alternate strategy and it could pay off if graining is a problem in the race. I'd love to see this scenario play out, where numerous two-stoppers from further back threaten one-stoppers who are experiencing excess tire wear.

With Lando's recent history, it's hard to imagine Oscar not beating Lando to Turn 1.

And with what's behind them, seems no way they could tell Oscar to back off at all.

Seems like some good fireworks for tomorrow morning.

Lando needs to improve at the starting line, but strategy is what’s been beating Piastri every week, and I’m sure it’ll happen again tomorrow.
