I like the idea. If you’re taking 12 tv dates, home games, paychecks, etc that hits everyone’s bottom line. If your argument is “the owners and players should eat it to grow the game” I would agree but I would guess they do not feel the same way on either side

If the whole tournament isn’t doable (because they won’t come down from 162) a compromise could be doing pool play right now and doing the 8 team knockout round at the all star break.
But to do that the pools need to be split better where you don’t have a DR, PR, Ven in the same group.
Wouldn’t get much viewership for pool play but the last 3 rounds with full rosters of the best players would be pretty awesome.

For some reason some band is/was just now playing "when the saints go marching in". I immediately recognized it from being in the dome hundreds of times. I just thought it was random.
