I hope this is the last year of this race in the coliseum. LA is not a NASCAR fan's town. The city gives two shits about NASCAR, racing in general and it fans. Move this race to someplace like North Wilkesboro, where at least the people of the area actually have an interest in the sport.

Data backs up that LA is a top 3 NASCAR market, but it’s like they don’t take any other variables into factor like hauling 40 teams across the country, California people don’t show up to shite like this, and the cost of paving a football field. So, this is what we’re left with…

Decent, but low speed racing around a football field in front of a 25% capacity crowd filled with the dumbest shite to turn two hours worth of racing into 5 hrs of tv time.

If they’re not going to do it at Daytona like the old days, this event would kill at Wilkesboro or Rockingham.

Eta: The Los Angeles nostalgia kills me, by the way. This ain’t the California portrayed in Mad Men.
