Go back to the 1950s and they were regulars at Langhorne in Pennsylvania, one of the greatest (and most brutal and literally man killing) tracks in history.
For those unfamiliar with it, Langhorne was a 1-mile, perfectly circular dirt track where you basically were in a slide the entire lap.
