Chase will be aggressive today, its his best last chance to get in playoffs

Fun thought exercise - if Larson and Chase are 1 and 2 going into the last 2 laps, does the ol' man tell Larson to lift and let Chase get the win for the playoffs?

Remember last year here at Watkins Glen, Larson and Chase were 1-2 on the final restart and Larson missed the first turn, ran Chase off track a bit, and Larson got the win. Larson might owe Chase one.

I'm a little confused why we are singing the Canada national anthem on US soil?

Okay, I get that the name of this race has something to do with bowling. However, this is Watkins Glen. Outside of Indianapolis Motor Speedway this is possibly the most famous race track in the United States and certainly one of the most historic and storied. It deserves something more than a couple of bowlers telling drivers to start their engines.

That’s something they’ve been doing for a pretty long time when they go to northern tracks like Watkins Glen, New Hampshire and Michigan. I guess they feel like there are a lot of Canadian fans at races at those tracks, so it appeases them.

B/c Watkins Glen is only 2 hours from the border and you have a lot of Canuck racing fans who come down to watch the race.

Same w/Michigan and New Hampshire

Yes, Gordon will give that order.

There's that little place in Tennessee and that highway in Alabama too.

Glad to see McDowell push Hamlin out of his way for the lead.

That's awesome they didn't throw a caution there. Good on Nascar.

That’s bad for Suarez’s playoff chances. Really needed a good run today, and preferably a win. He has time to get back in it, but that’s a set back.

He's been given more.and more control. He's the heir apparent to Rock.

Penalty for McDowell. Driving through too many pit stalls on his pit stop.

LOL, you can't be serious. Daytona maybe, but Watkins Glen has more history than Talladega and Bristol combined. Watkins Glen made it's racing bones before Talladega was even built.

I'll give you Dega but you are high if you think that is has a leg up on Bristol.
