Has anyone in the thread mentioned the cars that snuck on the track and were ripping around @ like 3am? Pics of a yellow corvette from last night going around on Twitter, and reports a 46 year old man was arrested. Lol

Radar still not looking good. Moderate to heavy rain still just sitting over much of downtown Chicago.

Yes, but they needed boats. Wonder if they move it to Monday? Then the Xfinity fans/racers/citizens can be really mad.
Maybe they can strap cars onto a boat and race in the lake?

Yep, there is currently a flash flood warning for much of downtown Chicago, including at the course. The course has a lot of spots where water stands.

Looks like rain clears out later this evening. Wonder if they’d race at night, sounds like they don’t want to do a Monday race?

I heard the national anthem being sung scanning the radio a few minutes ago. Just assumed that they were going to run the race.

That wasn’t an option when the Xfinity Series race was stopped yesterday, so I assume it’s not an option today.

The beer tent is flooding, so fans are creating toy boats out of empty beer cans and cardboard to race those now.

I’ve seen NBC show the graphic of all of the landmarks near the track about 20 times now.
